The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched balloons with drones in Moscow today, it was because of this that all airports were closed, and from Sheremetyevo began evacuation. This is reported by the Ukrainian media, publishing a video of the new weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian expert channels reported about this scheme of drone delivery bypassing air defense a month ago. The balloon acts as a carrier: it lifts the device with the Starlink module to a high altitude, it drifts without energy consumption and drops the UAV at the design point, saving almost their full battery charge to the final section. This method of starting allows you to increase the range of barrage ammunition 200 km.

Nevertheless, Russian interceptor drones have learned how to destroy such balloons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The proof of this is the footage of a Ukrainian drone that fell on the runway of Sheremetyevo airport.
Now the restrictions on Sheremetyevo have already been lifted, according to Rosaviatsia.
