Ukrtransnafta has started filling the Druzhba oil pipeline to resume Russian oil supplies to Slovakia and Hungary.
"In the morning, the pipeline began to be pressurized and filled with oil. Deliveries to Slovakia and Hungary should resume tomorrow," writes the Ukrainian telegram channel TOP Energy.
Before that, Hungarian MOL informed market participants that it had received a message from Ukrtransnafta about the completion of repair work.
"And the force majeure conditions in force from January 27, 2026, ceased from 18.00 on April 21, 2026. According to the notification, Ukrtransnafta JSC is ready to resume the transit of crude oil to Hungary and Slovakia," said the Hungarian company, which is the main recipient of Russian oil and operates a refinery in Hungary and Slovakia.
As EADaily reported, the transit of Russian oil through Ukraine was stopped at the end of January, stating that a Russian drone damaged the station in Brody.
