Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced an Easter truce, the Kremlin's press service reports.
The truce is announced from 16.00 on April 11 until the end of the day on April 12.
The Minister of Defense, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has been instructed to stop hostilities in all directions for this period. The troops are instructed to be ready to stop possible provocations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as any aggressive actions.
Moscow assumes that the Ukrainian side will follow Russia's example.
