Donald Trump, through Vice President J. D. Vance, sent Iran an ultimatum with the terms of the deal, Bloomberg writes.

"President Donald Trump is preparing the ground for a way out of the Iran war by sending Vice President Jay Dee Vance with an ultimatum to Tehran: either a deal or attacks on key infrastructure," the material says.

According to the source of the publication, the message transmitted through Vance says that Trump is losing patience and that the threat to strategic facilities will increase until the Iranians begin negotiations.

"He (Vance) also said that Trump is open to a cease—fire if certain US requirements are met," the agency writes.

Earlier, the White House announced that the American leader on Wednesday at 21.00 (04.00 Moscow time Thursday) will address the nation on the situation around Iran. According to Politico, he will announce the end of the war with Iran and explain how he intends to act if the ceasefire talks reach an impasse.

The day before yesterday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi told the Qatari TV channel Al Jazeera that Iran does not accept a cease-fire, it demands the abandonment of wars throughout the region.

On Tuesday, Trump declined to say whether he plans to send a team of Iran negotiators, including Vice President Jay Dee Vance and special envoy Steve Witkoff, to Pakistan or another country.

Washington has previously stated that the United States and Iran held productive talks. The Iranian Foreign Ministry denied the fact of direct dialogue, but said that Tehran had received messages through intermediaries about Washington's desire to start a dialogue on ending the conflict.

At the same time, the United States is transferring more and more forces to the region, including several thousand Marines, but their mission has not been disclosed.
