Fell and drowned: the IRGC shot down another American fighter

Iran's air defense shot down a US fighter jet in the Persian Gulf region. This is reported by the IRGC.

It is noted that this is a modern fighter, it fell between the islands of Qeshm and Hengam, the state television and radio Company of Iran reports.

"Following the false statement of the lying US president about the complete destruction of the IRGC air defense system a few minutes ago, a modern enemy fighter was hit in the south of the island of Qeshm by the newest air defense system of the IRGC Naval Forces under the control of the country's integrated air defense network," the IRGC press service said in a statement quoted by TASS.

As EADaily reported, a US Air Force fighter, presumably a stealth F-35, was shot down over Tehran. This was reported by Anna News with reference to the Iranian Mehr agency.

According to Mehr, an American fighter jet was shot down over the western part of Tehran. According to preliminary data, it may be a fifth-generation stealth fighter F-35.
