The founder of Blackwater, Eric Prince, entered the profitable Ukrainian UAV sector. It is reported by the British The Guardian.

"After several sources previously told the Guardian that Eric Prince — an ally of MAGA and founder of the now defunct mercenary company Blackwater — is seeking to work with Ukraine's invaluable drone sector, recent Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) documents confirm that he is now doing so," the publication says.

It is noted that the Ukrainian company Swarmer, specializing in autonomous software for UAVs, has applied for an initial public offering of shares and invited Prince as a non-executive director.

According to the newspaper, Prince has made drones the centerpiece of his new business. Through a representative, he declined to comment on his work on Ukraine, and Swarmer did not respond to the publication's request for comment on its relationship with Prince.

In September, several sources told the Guardian that Prince visited Kiev several times, where he was looking for Ukrainian drone manufacturers who could let him into their business. Swarmer fits the profile of the company he wanted to do business with.

"It looks like he's finally found a company to invest in Ukraine," said a former American special forces soldier with experience in Ukraine and familiar with the defense firms operating there.

As EADaily reported, the founder of the American PMC Blackwater, Eric Prince, is looking for an opportunity to penetrate the Ukrainian UAV sector. This was reported by The Guardian newspaper with reference to numerous Ukrainian sources.
