The temperature drop at night in Moscow to -30 degrees was reported in the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation, citing the latest weather data.
"The thermometer columns in the Silver Ponds near Moscow have dropped to 30 degrees below zero at the moment," the TASS Hydrometeorological Center reported.
It is noted that in the VDNH area the air temperature is -14.5 degrees, and in the center of the capital — 13.7 degrees with a minus sign.
On the eve of the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand said that very cold weather is expected in all regions of Russia at the weekend — up to -47 degrees. He noted that in the Southern Federal District on January 24-26, the temperature will be 6-12 degrees below normal.
