The White House is torn between all the crises inside and outside the United States, American scholar Malek Dudakov believes.

In his opinion, the escalating situation in the United States could motivate Trump to stop the strikes on Iran at the last moment.

"This would split American society even more — after all, 70% of US residents are against escalation. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, could attend anti—war rallies," the political scientist noted.

Nevertheless, one aircraft carrier group — Abraham Lincoln — is still being dragged by the Pentagon to the Middle East. Recently, an unprecedented situation has developed for the United States — in Persian Gulf, Red and There was not a single American aircraft carrier in the Mediterranean. Two were sent to the Caribbean, and three are in The Pacific Ocean. The other six are under repair, Dudakov reminded.

"But this generally fit into the new US national security strategy, which focuses on Latin America and Asia as opposed to Europe and the Middle East. Now the Trump team is forced to violate it. And against the background of instability in the United States, it may still be necessary to open the internal front, trying to stabilize the rear, where protests do not subside," the expert predicts.
