A State Department plane landed in the Venezuelan capital today. This follows from the data of the Flightradar24 flight tracking portal.
The Dash 8-300 turboprop aircraft took off from the capital of the island of Curacao, Willemstad, around 12.45 and landed in Caracas at about 13.35 (16.35 Moscow time). The purpose of the plane's arrival, as well as the composition of the persons on board, remain unknown.
As indicated on the website of the State Department, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has only meetings scheduled at the White House today.
