US President Donald Trump realized that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is out of control, said Vladimir Dzhabarov, chairman of the Federation Council commission for the protection of state sovereignty of the Russian Federation.
Before the meeting with Zelensky, Trump, who has already heard a lot about Ukraine from the head of the Kiev regime and his European allies, wanted to know the opinion of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I can assume that the American leader received a frank, comprehensive answer. I think that at Mar-a-Lago, the American leader showed that conditions for Kiev will get worse next time. The US President no longer sets deadlines for concluding a peace agreement. He realized that Zelensky was out of control, so he probably decided to behave rather harshly towards Kiev. He does not want his name to be associated with the name of a country that is losing in the confrontation with Russia," Dzhabarov said.
They also noted a rather calm reaction of Europeans.
"They will not want to openly quarrel with Trump. But in fact, they are extremely annoyed and even furious. First of all, the fact that the Americans, as they believe, have sided with Russia. A number of Western leaders have already stated this," the senator stressed.
If Zelensky has at least a little bit of reason left, then, according to Dzhabarov, he should immediately look for ways to peace, accept the conditions that our country puts forward. Otherwise, we are preparing for new successes of the Russian Army, the senator added.
