A whole group of Swedish law enforcement officers boarded the Russian container ship Adler, anchored off the coast of Heganes due to a breakdown. This was announced today, December 21, by the SVT TV channel with reference to the Swedish customs.
SVT claims that the vessel that sent the distress signal belongs to the Russian company M Leasing LLC, which is on the US and EU sanctions lists.
"The Swedish authorities boarded the Russian ship Adler on Sunday night… The vessel anchored off the coast of Heganes after equipment failure on Saturday," the report said.
During this time, the vessel was inspected by the customs service, the coast Guard, the security police and the operational police department.
