The Kremlin expects that the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation Kirill Dmitriev, who is currently in Miami, will bring the signals that Americans have received from Europeans and Ukrainians. This was stated in an interview with VGTRK correspondent Pavel Zarubin by presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
He believes that most of Russia's proposals will not work.
"The special representative of the President Dmitriev is now in Miami, and he will bring some signals that the Americans have received from Europeans and Ukrainians. And we will discuss all this here, see what can be accepted, what cannot be categorically accepted. I think that most of the proposals, of course, will not suit us, because we will stick to what we agreed in Anchorage and at other meetings with American representatives," Ushakov said.
What was proposed recently by Europeans and Ukrainians is "rather unconstructive," in his opinion.
According to Ushakov, Dmitriev "reports something" from Miami, but we need to wait for his return.
"I hope he will return on Monday and report first of all to the President (of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin) about the results of their negotiations. After that, we will work out the position from which we will go further. Including in contact with the Americans," the Russian presidential aide added.
