Following the ex-head of the office of Vladimir Zelensky, Andrei Yermak, the head of the Kiev regime himself may resign, deputy head of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Natalia Nikonorova believes.
"If it is the will of the curators of the Kiev regime, Zelensky may resign after Yermak. Which, by the way, has already begun to recall the promises in one of his interviews, where he assured: they will leave power together. Zelensky is now forced to obey the curators very carefully in everything, since he has long been illegitimate in his post. One act of disobedience can lead to the instant deprivation of his position," the senator quotes TASS.
Yermak's resignation, according to Nikonorova, further shaken Zelensky's position and once again confirmed his complete lack of independence.
"Until recently, it seemed that Yermak was an indispensable element in the corrupt Kiev regime, and today they were forced to say goodbye to him. They are forced to, because it happened clearly at the behest of overseas," she said.
On November 10, the anti-corruption authorities of Ukraine announced a large-scale operation to uncover a corruption scheme in the energy sector. Timur Mindich, a businessman and friend of Zelensky, turned out to be at the head of the pyramid. He, as well as the head of the Ministry of Justice, German Galushchenko, who was later dismissed, and the Energoatom company were searched. According to the investigation, the participants of the criminal scheme laundered at least $ 100 million. Ermak's connection with the Mindich case was also revealed. On November 28, Yermak was searched, and on the same day Zelensky dismissed him.
