US President Donald Trump threatened the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, that the United States would stop sharing intelligence and supplying weapons if it refused to sign the peace agreement proposed to him by November 27. It is reported by the English newspaper The Sun.
Against the background of this threat, Zelensky today held a "hastily organized" telephone conversation with European leaders, and then with US Vice President Jay D. Vance, the publication notes.
"The United States has warned Ukraine that it must sign the agreement by next Thursday, otherwise the supply of priceless weapons will be stopped," the publication says, a fragment of which is quoted by the publication "Время.иа ".
Kiev is under much more pressure from Washington than during previous peace talks, sources told the Sun. Zelensky's video message to the Ukrainian people came after the "complete shock" in which Ukrainian officials found themselves after the US ultimatum — to agree to the deal or lose the supply of weapons, the newspaper notes. In his address, Zelensky warned that Ukraine risks losing the support of the United States due to disagreements over Trump's 28-point plan.
Commenting on this plan, a high-ranking deputy from Zelensky's Servant of the People party said: "Being crazy has become the norm for us."
