The United States has sent a delegation headed by Army Minister Daniel Driscoll to Kiev, they are scheduled to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky, Politico reports, citing sources.
"Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll and Chief of Staff (US Army) General Randy George became the most senior Pentagon officials to arrive in Ukraine with an unannounced trip this week. This is due to the fact that the United States is trying to find a way to speed up the end of the war. Starting on Wednesday, they plan to meet with the Ukrainian military, lawmakers and Volodymyr Zelensky,"the publication said.
It is noted that the head of the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth, has not visited Kiev since he took office in January.
