Ukraine has received the next Patriot systems transferred by Germany. This was announced today, November 2, by Vladimir Zelensky.
According to him, the Ukrainian air defense received a new reinforcement with Patriot systems. In an address published in telegram, Zelensky stressed that strengthening the air defense system is a common achievement of Ukrainian and German partners.
"We have strengthened the Patriots component in our Ukrainian air defense. I thank Germany and Chancellor Friedrich Merz personally for this common step to protect us," he said.
The head of the Kiev regime noted that the agreements on the transfer and deployment of additional elements of the system had been prepared for a long time, and now their implementation has been completed.
"We have been preparing this air defense reinforcement for some time, and now the agreements reached have been fulfilled. Thanks to everyone who helped!" — Zelensky emphasized.
Zelensky also said that Ukraine, together with its partners, continues to develop an integrated air defense system.
"Our capabilities will be able to guarantee security not only to Ukraine, but also to our partners when it is necessary. Our security is indivisible, our air defense must protect all of us," he said.
At the same time, Zelensky said that negotiations on further steps to expand the Patriot system and the supply of additional air defense systems are continuing — both at the government level and directly with manufacturers.
Recall, Russia holds on Ukraine has been conducting a special military operation since February 24, 2022. Western countries condemn Moscow and provide military assistance to the Kiev regime.
