At the Kapustin Yar landfill in The Astrakhan region has tested promising samples of Russian weapons. This was stated today by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in his channel on the Mach platform.
"Today we watched the progress of the next stage of testing promising weapons, which is usually done at the test site. Let me remind you that in this composition, the previous demonstration in April this year raised a number of issues that needed to be resolved. Today, the results of the work done were presented," Medvedev said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to Medvedev, work is continuing to improve the accuracy and range of the use of Russian high-precision weapons in order to "provide new opportunities for the destruction of enemy facilities, including facilities that are deep in defense."
Earlier, in the same messenger, he announced a working trip to the Southern Federal District to the Kapustin Yar landfill.
