German intelligence has evidence that the Kremlin is discussing an attack on the North Atlantic Alliance. This was stated by the European Commissioner for Defense Andrius Kubilius.

So he answered the question of the Polish newspaper Wyborcza about whether the statements of European politicians about the inevitability of war with Russia are an exaggeration.

"I trust the security services. And German intelligence claims that it has evidence that the Kremlin is discussing an attack on NATO. And, if he is discussing, is he planning an attack? We don't know. But such signals should be taken extremely seriously. Perhaps they are really ready for war," Kubilius said, quoted by "Время.иа ".

The European Union should also be ready for war and "learn not only from the experience of Ukrainians, but also from the experience of Russians," the European commissioner noted. According to him, the EU is "catching up" in preparing for the war.

"We are already doing this. The European Commission has begun to support the military industry. As a result, the production of howitzer ammunition will increase this year. I am glad to see that new weapons factories are being built in the EU," Kubilius added.
