A fire started at the Novo-Yaroslavsky Refinery (Slavneft-YANOS PJSC). The governor reports that the reason is man—made.
"Today, a fire broke out on the territory of the refinery," Mikhail Evraev, Governor of the Yaroslavl Region, wrote in the telegram channel.
Residents were concerned that it could be the result of an enemy drone attack, the head of the region noted.
"But what happened has nothing to do with it. No UAV attacks were recorded today. The fire is man-made. The special services are already working to eliminate it," the governor of the Yaroslavl region added.
76.ru reports that 14 pieces of equipment and 65 personnel were involved in extinguishing the fire. There are no casualties.
