Military expert Yevgeny Mikhailov said that the NATO bloc has outlived itself.
"By and large, NATO is already collapsing, whatever it is. That is, for another couple of years, I think, and there is hardly anything left of the composition that was," Mikhailov said on Sputnik radio.
The countries of the alliance, according to the expert, will try to maintain some kind of independence, because they see that only the United States benefits.
"All countries will begin to comply, namely to try to maintain some kind of independence and their own national interests. Because, after all, Europe is not completely besotted, and many leaders see that only America benefits from everything," Mikhailov predicts.
