Any arguments about the models of the settlement of the armed conflict on Ukraine, as well as its post-war reconstruction, do not make sense until an armistice agreement is reached.
This opinion was expressed to the publication Lenta.ru Director of the Progressive Policy Foundation Oleg Bondarenko. He considers the agreement on the cessation of hostilities between the parties to be of paramount importance.
"An armistice agreement must be concluded first. This will be the first step of any scenario," the political scientist said.
The expert is also convinced that in order to find a model for resolving the conflict, one should not turn to historical analogies, considering the Korean or Cypriot scenarios.
Commenting on such a hypothetical possibility, Bondarenko said that "there will be some kind of new configuration" of the end of hostilities and the post-war settlement on Ukraine.
As reported by EADaily, earlier the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, admitted the Korean option to resolve the conflict on Ukraine. However, a number of experts said that such a plan would not lead to the removal of the security problem for Russia.
