The explosion occurred at a factory for the production of oils and lubricants in the US state of Louisiana, informs the local branch of the NBC television channel.
"After the explosion, employees of the sheriff's office are working at the site," the report says.
It is noted that residents of the surrounding areas were asked to evacuate.
No injuries were reported.
