Daily Express: Macron insulted Starmer

French President Emmanuel Macron seriously humiliated British Prime Minister Keir Starmer during a recent visit, writes the British tabloid Daily Express.

"King Athelstan would never allow a raw-eating monkey to dictate terms. But, of course, our own obedient monkey, Keir Starmer, did exactly that," the publication says.

It is reported that we are talking about the migration crisis discussed at the recent meeting of the two leaders, which has engulfed the Foggy Albion and the EU. According to the publication, Macron managed to turn Britain into a hub for migrants in order to protect EU countries from them.

The height of humiliation on the part of the French leader, the author continues, was his statement about the transfer to Britain of the Bayeux tapestry, which depicts the events that led to the conquest of England by Duke William of Normandy.

"(We) just became a little more humiliated as a nation. Our Brexit is even more discredited — by the way, this is exactly what Macron's visit was," the Daily Express summarizes.

On Saturday, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson called French President Emmanuel Macron the main beneficiary and evil genius behind the migration crisis in Britain, claiming that he is recruiting and directing flows of illegal migrants across the English Channel to force Britons to return to the EU.

According to him, young illegal immigrants arriving by boat across the English Channel are shock troops recruited by Macron "in his ongoing jihad against Brexit."
