As a result of active offensive operations, Russian units from the Zapad group of forces were able to advance deeply in the Serebryansky forestry area.
This was reported in its Telegram channel on Friday, August 22 by the Ukrainian analytical resource DeepState.
It is specified that the Russian military over the past day advanced from the village of Dibrova to the southwest in the direction of the Seversky Donets, as well as towards Serebryanka from the east.
The source of the channel noted that, apparently, there is a major offensive of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) in the Seversky direction. It is indicated that the "vorog" is simultaneously conducting an offensive in the Olgovsky area in the Zaporozhye region.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian units from the South group of forces liberated the settlement of Alexandro-Shultino of the Donetsk People's Republic as a result of active offensive actions.
