President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the telegram channel "Pool One", close to the press service of the leader of Belarus, reports.
"Lukashenka and Putin have just talked on the phone," the message says.
They discussed "the situation in the region, taking into account the negotiations in Alaska."
"The Russian leader informed his Belarusian counterpart in detail about the results of the Russia—USA Summit. The heads of state also touched upon certain issues of bilateral Belarusian-Russian relations," the message says.
As EADaily reported, before flying to Alaska on August 15, US President Donald Trump called Lukashenko, and then said that the conversation was "very good."
