The Ukrainian Armed Forces are hastily erecting fortifications and mining the area between Soledar and Sentry Yar

On the front line with a length of more than 20 km between Soledar and Chasov Yar in the DPR, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively building new defenses and mining the area. This was stated by military expert Andrei Marochko.

"On the front line with a length of more than 20 km north-west of Soledar and west of Chasova Yar, active enemy engineering works on the construction of fortifications and mining of the terrain were noted," he told TASS.

He pointed out that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had sent an additional battalion-sized unit to Minkovka. Three Western-style artillery pieces have been identified in Makarovo.

"South-west of Grigorovka — in the area of the Seversky Donets— Donbass canal, several maneuverable groups of Forces of unmanned systems of the armed formations of Ukraine have arrived," Marochko said.
