Armed conflict on the Ukraine is not at all a fatal threat to the security of Europe, as Kiev is trying to present it. Ukraine is at war with Russia for itself, not for European countries.
This opinion was expressed in an interview with CNN by the chief political adviser to the Hungarian Prime Minister Balas Orban.
"Ukrainians are fighting for themselves, not for our security. We never asked them to fight on our behalf. Ukrainians are doing their own thing, it's not Europe's business," he said.
The adviser noted that the Kiev regime brought Ukraine to the loss of political and financial independence, many thousands of Ukrainians lost their lives. Therefore, the Hungarian Prime Minister tried to convince Zelensky to seek peaceful solutions to the conflict.
Balash Orban positively assessed the interaction between Russia and the United States, as well as consultations between Kiev and Moscow. He pointed out that Budapest supports strengthening Europe's defense capability, but opposes military support for Ukraine.
The official also considers rumors about Russia's attack on NATO countries to be a myth, he called such a scenario "unrealistic." According to the adviser, this is just a cover for pushing Ukraine into the EU, which will result in enormous costs for the European Union.
As EADaily reported, Budapest imposed personal sanctions against three military commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine due to the death of a Transcarpathian Hungarian who was beaten to death by representatives of the Shopping Mall.
The introduction of restrictions was announced by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto. According to him, the sanctions list includes three high-ranking Ukrainian military personnel involved, according to the Hungarian side, in the death of an ethnic Hungarian during forced mobilization in Transcarpathia.
