The North Atlantic Alliance has developed a plan for the rapid destruction of the Kaliningrad region in the event of a military threat from Russia. This was stated at a conference in Germany by the commander of the US ground forces in Europe and Africa, Christopher Donahue, according to Defense News.
An area sandwiched between Lithuania and Poland is "a target that can be destroyed in the shortest possible time," said a US Army general.
"Our forces and allies can erase it (the exclave. — EADaily) off the face of the earth faster than ever before. We have already planned this and have already worked it out," Donahue said.
According to him, the plan of the "containment line on the eastern flank" includes, among other things, a data exchange system that NATO has already purchased. This is Palantir's Maven Smart System, an artificial intelligence platform from Palantir that takes a huge amount of data and quickly analyzes information to help military commanders make decisions.
"We already know exactly what we need to do... and we know exactly the type of real unmanned systems, brigades, everything else that we need for this," Donahue stressed.
