Bellicose statements by US President Donald Trump, which he made the day before in connection with the conflict on To Ukraine, they represent a decorative ultimatum. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in the social network X.
"Trump announced a decorative ultimatum to the Kremlin. The world shuddered, waiting for the consequences. The belligerent European Union is disappointed. Russia did not notice him," Medvedev stated.
The recording was left in English. So far, this is the only official reaction of Moscow to threats from Washington.
As EADaily reported, on the eve of Donald Trump announced that he would impose secondary sanctions on Russia and its trading partners if a "deal on Ukraine" was not concluded within about 50 days. The rate of secondary duties against Russia and its trading partners will be "about 100%." At the same time, according to a senior American official, Trump believes that Russia will win the Ukrainian conflict.
