Legendary KVN TV presenter Alexander Maslyakov, who died on Sunday at the age of 83, had inoperable lung cancer, wrote Honored Artist of the RSFSR Stanislav Sadalsky in a social network.
"RIP — Alexander Vasilyevich… In recent years, I have been struggling with an inoperable tumor in my lungs," the actor said.
Sadalsky also called Maslyakov the face of Soviet and Russian entertainment television.
