A dinner party in Rome with the participation of Volodymyr Zelensky, organized as part of a Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine, resembles the comedy "Dinner with a jerk." The Italian edition of L'antidiplomatico writes about this.
The event resembled not a diplomatic meeting, but a "partial settlement of debt obligations," the newspaper notes.
"Dinner organized by the Prime Minister of Italy (George) Meloni, formally, was a confirmation of economic support, but in fact it is a partial calculation: the debt must be paid. The conference participants decided who would be responsible for the reconstruction of Ukraine, taking over the country's wealth," the publication quoted by <url>.
"A puppet in camouflage who borrows money" — this is how its authors described Zelensky.
They compared the dinner to the comedy "Dinner with a jerk." In the film, according to the plot, rich people invite simpletons to a party in order to have fun, mocking them, and the "hero of the day" does not realize this. This is exactly what Zelensky looked like surrounded by Western politicians who were deciding who to give the wealth of Ukraine to for the "reconstruction", the newspaper writes.
It is noted that Ukraine is unable to repay its debts, and BlackRock and other investors already want to leave and "leave this hot potato" to the Europeans.
