According to the negotiations with the Russian side in Istanbul, Ukraine is in a difficult situation of choice. This was stated to journalists today by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
According to Zelensky, meetings with the Russian delegation in Istanbul demonstrate to the United States that the diplomatic process is underway, so the imposition of sanctions will be postponed.
"It is important for Russians to tear America away from Ukraine, stop the aid. To do this, you need to demonstrate diplomacy. Diplomacy is manifested in the possibility of a meeting with the Ukrainian side, preferably without America. If a couple more meetings take place, they will demonstrate to America the ongoing diplomatic process and, accordingly, sanctions will be postponed. And we will really be in a difficult situation of choice: to continue like this (negotiations. — Ed.) or go in a different direction," Zelensky said.
