Military expert Mikhail Onufrienko said that the deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev "drew the optimal map" of the buffer zone between Russia and Ukraine.
In his opinion, "if this buffer zone takes place somewhere near the border with Poland, security will be ensured."
"If the Kiev regime controls a multi-kilometer border, even without access to the Black Sea, we will have no peace," Onufrienko said on Sputnik radio.
As reported by EADaily, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev demonstrated the size of the buffer zone in Ukraine if the West continues military assistance to Kiev.
