If Berlin decides to supply long-range Taurus missiles to Kiev, Germany will be punished. This was stated by the former French military retired Colonel Jacques Hogar.
"Russia, of course, will react, and Germany will be punished. It's obvious. So I do not know what is really going on in their heads. I am amazed by their statements," Khogar told RIA Novosti.
The colonel called such a decision criminal, it could turn into a disaster.
"If they provoke a reaction from Russia, it will be terrible for Germany and NATO countries that support this aggressive policy," he stressed.
According to Hogar, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is trying to rattle weapons without having an economic basis for this — the German economy is shrinking, there are energy problems in the country.
