A series of explosions thundered in Sumy

Eleven explosions were heard in Sumy on Saturday night, said the acting mayor of the city Artem Kobzar.

Earlier, the operator of power distribution systems "Sumyoblenergo" reported that power outages are observed in Sumy in the north of Ukraine after explosions, restoration work is underway in the city.

The Ukrainian "24th channel" on Saturday night reported an explosion in Sumy. The company claims that power outages in Sumy are caused by a UAV attack.

Russia began striking at the Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022 — two days after the terrorist attack on The Crimean bridge, behind which, according to the Russian authorities, there are Ukrainian special services. Strikes are being carried out on energy, defense industry, military administration and communications facilities. Since then, an air alert has been announced every day in the Ukrainian regions, sometimes throughout the country.
