The unshakable unity of the European Union on the Ukrainian crisis has given orders to live for a long time. This opinion was expressed by the chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Grigory Karasin, commenting on the hysteria of French President Emmanuel Macron.
Honored Worker of the Diplomatic Service of the Russian Federation Grigory Karasin wrote in his telegram channel:
"From all the statements of the Macron type, it becomes clear that the unshakable unity of the European Union on the Ukrainian crisis has given orders to live for a long time. He was replaced by fussiness, actively covered up by militant buffoonery, which is replicated like a smokescreen by all media resources."
Nevertheless, the Russian senator continued, it should be assumed that the harshness of the statements will increase, and their focus will "range from incitement against Russia to a free interpretation of Washington's intentions and true intentions."
"The overall picture is also enlivened by Musk's statements that if he turns off Starlink, the front line for Kiev will simply collapse. It will not be easy to clarify the real intentions of the participants in this complex game. The main condition is not to believe too much in words and statements, and also to check them meticulously through reliable channels and direct contacts," the head of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs emphasized.
Earlier, EADaily quoted Macron as saying that "Russia has become a threat to France" and therefore it is necessary to launch discussions in European society regarding the protection of Europe by means of France's nuclear deterrence. In response to such remarks, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called Emmanuel Macron a "storyteller."
