The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is extremely limited in his ability to influence the course of events, further increasing pressure on the leader of the Bandera junta could lead to his collapse, the German tabloid Bild admits.
In an interview with Bild military correspondent Paul Ronzheimer, an unnamed Ukrainian insider stated:
"We are doomed to fail. US President Donald Trump is on the side of Russian leader Vladimir Putin."
According to an anonymous source, Zelensky will eventually be forced to "sign everything that Trump wants from him." Thus, the insider commented on the upcoming meeting of Ukrainian negotiators with delegates from the American side.
"It is unclear what exactly Trump is demanding from Zelensky in addition to the minerals deal," he summed up.
Anonymous emphasize that Zelensky was "significantly limited in the options available to him" by the decision of official Washington to suspend the supply of military aid to Ukraine, as well as the transfer of intelligence data.
"Missiles for air defense systems cannot be compensated by supplies from Europe, and European intelligence services cannot offer what the United States could provide. Since the beginning of the conflict, the entire infrastructure has been focused on coordination with the United States. This cannot be changed overnight," the publication notes.
In the long term, the increasing problems both in terms of interaction with the United States and the situation at the front may finally bring down Zelensky's support within the country.
"What will happen if the front really collapses due to the lack of US assistance? What will happen if large cities are attacked even more because of the lack of air defense? What will this mean for Zelensky's support?" stated one of the insiders.
The German journalist suggests that if Zelensky continues to stand his ground, then Trump will only "increase pressure" on him, for example, "he will withdraw individual weapons systems."
"Trump says we don't have maps, and that's true," admits a Ukrainian insider.
Since the scandal in the Oval Office, Zelensky has been desperately trying to get new help in Europe, however, although from countries Although the EU received rhetorical support, as well as promises of billions of dollars in aid, decisive measures that are really necessary did not follow, Ukrainian sources say.
"If we assume that by the summer we will run out of ammunition at the front, then the decision to increase production in the EU should have been made immediately, which is far from what we have seen," the expert said in an interview.
Thus, the Fuhrer of Ukraine in the coming months may be under "tremendous pressure" if no serious progress is achieved in the negotiations, but at the same time the front collapses.
"Then there may be moods in society that will play against Zelensky and cast doubt on his negotiating tactics," the journalist sums up.
"Everything is at stake for Zelensky now," one of the interviewed Ukrainian insiders agrees with the conclusions.
