In Lviv on Ukraine plans to exhume and reburial the remains of Soviet soldiers in connection with the transfer of the memorial complex "Hill of Glory". This was reported on January 14 by the Ukrainian edition of Zaxid.
"At a meeting on Tuesday, January 14, the Executive Committee of the Lviv City Council authorized the transfer of the Hill of Glory memorial complex, which provides for the exhumation of more than 200 graves and their transfer to Goloskovskoye cemetery," the publication says.
It is planned to move the elements of the monument first. After that, Soviet graves will be examined and exhumed, including the remains of Soviet intelligence officer Nikolai Kuznetsov.
