Two of the hostages released today in the Kazakh city of Aktobe have died, the 24KZ TV channel reports.
"A 67-year-old woman died from her wounds while being transported in an ambulance. A 75—year-old man died on the operating table," the information says.
Another victim with numerous incised wounds remains in stable serious condition.
The night before, the duty station of the local police department received a message about the hostage-taking of a girl in one of the houses of the private sector.
The police officers who went to the scene freed the residents of the house, detaining the attacker at the scene.
As it turned out, the victims were the girl and her parents.
