The next intercontinental ballistic missile "Yars" is loaded into a silo launcher in The Kozelsky missile compound in the Kaluga region, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"In the Kozelsky missile compound (Kaluga Region), the Yars intercontinental ballistic missile of the Republic of Kazakhstan was loaded into a silo launcher," the report says.
It is specified that the rocket is installed using a special transport and loading unit, operations last several hours.
"The rearmament of the Strategic Missile Forces consists not only in equipping troops with new missile systems, but also in creating a new social infrastructure that provides better conditions for the training of forces on duty, combat duty and rest," the ministry added.
As noted in the Ministry of Defense, the implementation of the planned measures for the rearmament of the Strategic Missile Forces will increase the share of modern strategic missile systems and increase the ability to accomplish the tasks.
