The Western curators of the Kiev regime are behind the large-scale night attack on Moscow by drones, political scientist, dean of the Faculty of Media Communications of the IPCC Yuriy Kot is sure.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces do not launch drones on their own, they are completely controlled by Western intelligence services, and a strategic decision is also made in the West. The fact that more than 10 drones were sent towards Moscow is also an important fact, because this is the heart of Russia. These are all attempts to probe our weaknesses," Yuri Kot said on Sputnik radio.
The expert stressed that "as a result, we are able to turn all this into our strength."
"What was possible before is already extremely difficult to do today. Our air defense system has been strengthened so much today that they can't just break through," he said.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that on the night of August 21, the air defense forces destroyed 45 Ukrainian drones over the territory of five Russian regions, including 11 over the Moscow region.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the drone attack on the capital has become one of the largest in recent times. He noted that the echeloned defense of Moscow from enemy UAVs made it possible to successfully repel all attacks.
