Since the morning of August 18, the Russian army has been storming Toretsk (formerly Dzerzhinsk) in the Donetsk region.
"The Russian army broke through in Toretsk is storming the city in the morning," the telegram channel "Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring" reports. TK refers to a Ukrainian officer with the call sign Alex.
"From 5 to 8 pieces of equipment flew in. There are heavy battles," he said.
The day before, there were reports that the Russian army approached the city from the North and began to advance in urban areas. The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine complained about this.
