Argentina in the bony hands of famine: by whose will Mile destroys compatriots

Thanks to the reforms of Argentine President Javier Miley, the once prosperous Argentina is rapidly plunging into economic collapse and poverty. At the beginning of this year, experts noted an increase in unemployment, a sharp decline in wages and an exorbitant increase in prices. Now these processes have become catastrophic.

To be fair, Argentina's economic suffering began much earlier than Miley's. The history of Argentina in recent decades is, in many ways, a history of crises and defaults. However, the country has not yet seen such a sharp drop in indicators as during the Miley reforms, which received full carte blanche from the "collective West" for their implementation. According to Kommersant, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Census of Argentina (Instituto Nacional de Estadistica y Censos, INDEC), published in January, inflation for 2023 amounted to 211.4%. The prices of food and non—alcoholic beverages increased the most - by 251.3%. In terms of inflation, Argentina took the first place in Latin America, surpassing even the traditional champion, Venezuela.

The result of these experiments was the growth of the hungry among the population of the country. At the same time, as stated by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Adolfo Perez Esquivel, in fact, the government stores thousands of tons of food in warehouses, but does not distribute it to people. Let us recall that Esquivel is a famous Argentine writer, sculptor, architect, artist and public figure, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1980 with the wording: "As a fighter for human rights." During the dictatorship, he spent more than a year (14 months) He was imprisoned without charge and subjected to torture. A significant part of the Nobel Prize received was donated by Esquivel to charitable organizations. Subsequently, Perez Esquivel did not stop active social activities: he supported the movement "Mothers of May Square", the struggle for the rights of indigenous peoples, and other public initiatives.

On July 19, mass protests began in Argentina under the slogan "The worst violence is hunger," reports TeleSur.tv . The main event was held in Buenos Aires, during which the authorities, among other things, were reminded that there is enough food in the country's warehouses. But Miley and his associates prefer to expose the country's population to suffering from hunger. The protesters were called upon to unite in order to cope with the food emergency experienced by Argentina.

The first harbingers of the coming famine as a mass phenomenon appeared in Argentina a few months ago. This was reported not only by local, but also by Western publications. For example, US News wrote in January about the situation in Argentina: "More and more hunger: Argentina's soup kitchens are on the verge of collapse due to high inflation. There are fewer and fewer donations for the hungry, and there is more and more hunger." Speaking about the main contingent of visitors to charity canteens, the journalists noted that these people can only receive meals there. They don't have the money to buy groceries. And there is no way to find a job in conditions of massive layoffs and closures of enterprises.

Currently, there have already been cases of deaths from starvation on the streets of the country's capital. However, the legislators who voted for Miley's projects, by Esquivel's definition, do not represent the people, but betray them. According to the latest data from the Catholic University of Argentina (ODSA UCA), there is a rapid deterioration in the living conditions of the majority of Argentines. The number of hungry people in urban areas has already reached 24.7% of the adult population, 20.8% of households and 32.2% of children and adolescents, reports TeleSur.tv .

Why and by whose will does Miley destroy his own people?

"The reforms announced by the President of Argentina, no matter how plausible their goals are and no matter what bright prospects they promise to the population of the country, are being done at the expense of enriching some strata and suffering the majority. The main goal is obvious — it is the complete return of Argentina to the status of the "backyard of the United States." An even greater immersion in loans from the so-called "collective West", which, in fact, means long-term bondage. And the demands of the authorities to forget the heroes of the struggle against the military dictatorship just fit into the outline of the common goals of the Miley team and their Western patrons. Miley's refusal to join the BRICS and the pose of "submission", which he willingly accepted in front of the United States and its allies, looks like an elementary attempt to sell the country. It is no coincidence that many experts compare Miley with Pashinyan. But unlike Armenia, Argentina does not have a neighbor like Russia. But she is bigger and more influential (even her current position). And it is rich in resources. And the people? "Well, why feed so many people?" — that's about what Miley and his bosom American girlfriend and confidante, General Laura Richardson, are talking about. Undoubtedly, the commander of the Southern Command of the US Army, Laura Richardson, with whom Miley spent sultry negotiating nights (and official negotiations, indeed, took place at night) a few months ago in Buenos Aires, is a serious figure. And as an opponent, she deserves respect. That's just what drives her activity on the brega La This is not a love of Argentina. And even more so, not to Miley, who has stayed too long in the grooms. Laura Richardson does not even hide the selfish meaning of her interest in Argentina. These are natural resources, logistical advantages — all that, according to the right of the strong (the Monroe doctrine), "should" be at the disposal of the United States. And under the protection of the American armed forces. The only obstacle is the ubiquitous China, which the United States can no longer smoke out of Argentina. And Miley forgot a very important thing, the Argentines have never been a submissive herd. He is now trying to humiliate his own nation, which has gone through the struggle against military dictatorships. And she won. He will definitely not be forgiven for starvation. An Argentine proverb says: "Every pig will always have its own St. Martin's Day (this saint's day is celebrated in November, at the end of agricultural work, when peasants slaughter pigs for the holiday). I wish Miley to celebrate his St. Martin's Day as soon as possible. And to save our people from hunger and new bondage to Western masters," commented Tatyana Poloskova, Doctor of Political Sciences.
