Journalist Babchenko announces he is alive

Russian reporter Arkady Babchenko, whose murder was reported on May 29, turns out to be alive. On May 30, he spoke on air of Dozhd TV channel.

The assassination was faked, the attack was disrupted in an operation by the Ukrainian Security Service, head of the service Vasyl Hrytsak announced at a briefing in Kiev.

On May 29, Ukrainian media reported that Babchenko was killed last night when entering his apartment in Kiev. The Ukrainian police and the Russian Investigation Committee started investigations. Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said he was sure that Russia was engaged in the murder.
