Gazprom has started supplying gas to Azerbaijan. From September 29, the country will receive about 6 mn cubic meters of gas on a daily basis.
The gas is delivered under a contract signed by Gazprom affiliate, Gazprom Export, and AzMeCo. The contract envisages supplies of up to 2 bn cubic meters annually.
The Russian gas supplies to Azerbaijan will guarantee that the Karadag methanol plant will be working at full capacity.
