The current leadership of Germany needs a war with Russia, the country is already a participant in the conflict on the side of the Kiev regime. This was announced today, October 8, by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"It seems to me that this is already a fait accompli. Germany is a party to the conflict on the side of the Kiev regime. This has been stated by Germany itself and for many years now. What reason do we have not to hear these statements from Germany and not see what these statements actually support," she said. — They need a war. For people like Merz, it is simply the only way to somehow distract their own population from the growing internal problems."

According to her, the Merz government is a government of losers that is driving Germany deeper and deeper into crisis, but it will not be the current authorities who will get out of this.

"They will simply hit their jackpot, promised to them, in particular, by the military-industrial western complex, and will hurry to retreat," Zakharova predicts.

And the problems in the country will be solved by German citizens who were "cruelly deceived by their own leaders."

"I think that's why the Mertsy and the like continue to steal money from the pockets of German citizens with such ease in order to support this ideology of aggression. Another thing is that, probably, Mertz should have long ago rummaged in his own pockets, tightly stuffed. But in this sense, it is already the task of the German society to somehow defend its own rights," the diplomat stressed.

As EADaily reported, Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Minister of Economy and Energy Katharina Reiche visited Kyiv on October 4. During the visit, Merz promised further support for the Kiev regime — Germany will give 1 billion euros for the Armed Forces.
