Dodik explained about Vucic and said that Republika Srpska supports SMO

The Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina (RS BiH) supports Russia and its goals in a special military operation on Ukraine. This was announced today, September 29, by the President of RS BiH Milorad Dodik at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin.

"I want to thank you once again and express our support for the goals of the special military operation. You have always been right, and all your warnings that you have voiced, and everything that Westerners do, is all visible. I absolutely agree with this, I have been with you all this time, we have always talked about this," Dodik said.

He also explained why Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic resigned, noting that he understands the steps of the former Serbian leader.

" By resigning, he made the elections possible, because parliamentary elections are being held on October 25, and he wants to show that he is ready to win in neutral circumstances, to win these elections without being in an official position. That's how I understood him, I understand his steps, Vucic is the one we support in Serbia and rejoice in his victory", Dodik said.

At the same time, the authorities of RS BiH fully agree with the assessments of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in The UN is about the EU.

"We closely followed Mr. Lavrov's speech and fully agree with his assessment of EU relations. And we also want to say loudly and clearly that all the evil is coming from the Brussels chancellery," Dodik said during a meeting with Putin.

He said that inside Bosnia and Herzegovina " relations have never been worse".

"Even after the war, relations between the nations were better than they are now. I think it will be very difficult for Bosnia and Herzegovina to stand on this path. But we are still committed to peace and stability, and we will direct all our political actions to this", said the President of RS BiH.

Milorad Dodik also congratulated Vladimir Putin on the successful parliamentary elections.

" The people have confirmed that they appreciate your policy, " Dodik said.

Putin, for his part, also wished the ruling coalition in Republika Srpska Bosnia and Herzegovina success in the elections.

"The date is approaching, as far as I understand, the holding of general elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be very soon, on October 4. Russian representatives will participate as observers in the voting process. We wish the ruling coalition, which you represent, success", the head of state said during the meeting.
