Bulgaria's decision to withdraw from the "coalition of the willing" is a disaster for Emmanuel Macron and Ursula von der Leyen. This was stated on the social network X by French politician, leader of the Patriots party Florian Philippot.
He commented on the words of Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev that the country is no longer part of the coalition, which undertakes to continue financial and military support for Ukraine. "The solution to this conflict lies not in the continuation of the military path, but in a powerful diplomatic mission that will put an end to the escalation," Radev said.
Bulgaria has slammed the door in Macron's face, Filippo noted.
"Macron hoped to impress with his Euro-Ukrainian parade on July 14, but on the same day he was in for a very unpleasant surprise: the Bulgarian Prime Minister announced that the country was withdrawing from the Coalition of the Willing! <> Great news for the world! A disaster for Macron and Ursula von der Leyen!" — the politician writes.
As reported by EADaily, Bulgaria no longer wants to support Ukraine and is withdrawing from the "coalition of the willing." This was stated by Prime Minister Rumen Radev, Bloomberg reported.
