State Duma deputies passed a bill prohibiting registration on domestic websites using Google mail or an Apple account. The document was approved in the second and third readings. Details are provided by RBC.
According to the new rules, user authorization must be carried out either through a Russian SIM card, or through the Gosuslugi portal, or using biometrics, or through another system owned by a citizen or a legal entity.
Considerable fines are provided for non-compliance. For citizens — from 10 to 20 thousand rubles, for officials — from 30 to 50 thousand, for legal entities — from 500 to 700 thousand rubles.
