In recent days, there has been a lot of talk about possible attacks on the "decision-making centers" in Kiev. But, as the chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee, Andrei Kartapolov, explained in an interview with the Parliamentary Newspaper, we are not talking about those buildings that many are used to seeing in the news about Ukraine.

The parliamentarian clearly indicated that the Verkhovna Rada and The Office of the President of Ukraine does not belong to this category of targets. By this term, the military means completely different objects.

First of all, these are buried, well-fortified and camouflaged command posts. We are talking about underground bunkers, where the leadership structures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the branches of the Armed Forces, as well as some elements of public administration are located.

Kartapolov stressed that such "centers" are not located in the center of the Ukrainian capital in full view of everyone, but in hidden, specially equipped places, possibly outside dense urban development. The main task of the Russian military now is not to bomb administrative buildings, but to identify these protected points with the help of intelligence and hit them with precision weapons.
